Thank you for your interest in seeking casual/contract employment with As-The-Disc-Goes-Round Productions as a DJ/entertainer. We have made this page to give you an idea of what we do and what we are looking for.  Please be sure to read the entire page before sending us a résumé. Understand though, you DO NOT NEED prior DJ experience; we will train the right person if need be.

Who are we and what do we do?

We are a small home-based DJ service which provides high quality entertainment for weddings, anniversaries, schools, private parties, and other events which require music and karaoke.  All of our equipment in top-of-the-line and we are constantly updating our music files to maintain an up-to-date library of both karaoke and regular music.  Satisfying the customer is our top priority.  Our goal is to become one of Western New York's premier DJ services and in order to do this, we need to have a solid group of reliable DJ's.

What are we are looking for?

We do not "mix" and "scratch" like night club DJ's; nor are we looking for those type of DJ's.  All of our music is on 100% digital  (the days of records are about over for mobile DJ's).  Anyone that we hire will need to meet the following criteria:

1. Must be able to work evenings and weekends (advance notice always given).

2. Must have a VALID New York State Drivers License and be able to use a map.

3. Must be comfortable performing public speaking (usually in front of 100-400 people).

4. Have a clean cut image (no drugs, nose rings, tattoo's that cannot be covered up with clothing).

5. Must have a working knowledge of all types of music including country, pop, rock, and oldies.  

6. Must have a great personality and be able to work with all types of people...including kids.

7. Must be honest, hard working, and reliable.

8. Must be able to lift 75+ pounds unassisted.

9. Must be able to set-up and operate basic electronics (training on the equipment is provided).

10. Must work well under pressure and on a strict time deadline.
